This helps to avoid the problems with fonts. One was for an actual sign project and the other (using imagery from "Pulp Fiction") was just a bit of fun (I had to crudely "edit" the graphic for this forum). Convertion text objects into curves is almost always done at the prepress stage of the printing process. I attached a couple examples I made using that method. This should now 'snap' the Text to the curve. Go to the top menus, chose the Text box -> Fit text to path. Now place your cursor along the curve and click to fit. Then select the text and go to Text > Fit Text to Path. Use the Bezier tool (which you can find in the Freehand tool group flyout on the left toolbar) to trace the mountain ridges. Let’s start with adding artistic text to a path. Click on the Arrow (pointer) tool, and select your text, hold the shift key, while selecting your curve. With both kinds of text, you’re not limited to straight lines and rectangular frames. Determining the target path's length and making the art brush letters match it will reduce distortion further. Draw an arc (or cicrle) or what ever it is you want to curve the text path around. You'll still get some distortion, but it will be far more natural looking than anything gained from manually tinkering with an envelope filter. Please try again or contact your administrator. But there was mistake in text now i'm able to edit text, convert back curve to text. That will actually get the horizontal features of the letters to follow the bends of a curve. converted curve text to text hugedreams over 7 years ago Hi, I made a file and i curve text (CTRL+Q) and I save it and close the file. One trick I've used over in Adobe Illustrator is turning a string of letters into an Art Brush and applying that to a path. If you select the Text tool and click the curved text, you can. The envelope effect can do a little better, but it's really difficult to get results that look proper. Click Text, and then choose Fit Text to Path from the menu to attach the text to the path. The letter rotation tends to look a bit more natural. I tend to get the best results with the standard Text on Path effect by using really condensed or compressed typefaces and giving the letters pretty wide spacing. Any letters that are wide at all look horrible applied in a Text on Path effect. The results often end up looking pretty wacky because the effect is only rotating the letters and often not doing the best job of it either. I am not fond of the standard Text on Path effects within CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator for the reasons you describe.
